E3 2004
Overview
First of all I would just like to say that I had a ton of fun in L.A. for E3 and I would love it if we could hack together a way for more of my friends to go. I think you have to be sponsored by a company to register and the base cost is $350 plus of course hotel and LA insane prices. But uhh... Don and I are paid for by our company and uhh... you can crash on the floor of our hotel room! Yes! Heh... That would be crazy. I registered the domain gameshizzle.com and maybe we could do something under the auspices of that.
E3 was complete sensory overload for me. I did not quite know what to expect and wasn't, in my opinion, prepared enough to cover it as well as I woulda liked. I probably got to see about 2/3 of it. Also, I had to concentrate on it from a work perspective a lot, so it was kinda serious for a bit there and not play time. I won't be overwhelmed again, however... I got it all planned out for next year, now that I know what to expect.
I got totally screwed out of most of my pics and movies on day two, thanks to Adam's communist HP digital camera (thanks a lot pal!). It decided to corrupt one of the 4 movies I took that day, and would not unload anything. I was only able to get 6 pictures and no movies out of that day. It's a cryin shame too, cuz that was my main day of Booth Babe™ hunting. To be honest, I was unimpressed with the babes. Don says there were more last year and half of the ones here this year were skanky. Oh well... maybe next year.
Ok, on to the stuff.
